Welcome Riverside Guesthouse - Hella

The communal kitchen was a lifesaver for cooking, but the receptionist was unfriendly.

The hotel of choice in Hella. Nice property with clean facilities. Location next to the grocery store and other welcome riverside.

Loved the place, had a really really nice stay for one night. The location was remote, just off the grocery store, a supermarket, and the ferry. It also was to a factory with working people...

Unfortunately Wi-Fi was horrible.

A cozy stay by the river

I enjoyed the peaceful location and the lovely communal kitchen amenities. The Wi-Fi access exceeded my expectations.

Checking in was quite confusing, especially in the dark. The landline communication for room codes was a bit problematic and could be improved.

I've had a very nice stay for one night. The location was exceptionally nice and magnificent in a good area, close to Hella, and grocery store. Also, Hekla Centre was in close proximity to the hotel. The room was airy, compact and complete with four beds, included towels, bedroom. Everything was nice, I really enjoyed that.

The spacious Economy Twin Room was beautifully decorated and had a newly updated bathroom. The location was perfect for visiting Seljalandsfoss and the fine landscapes nearby.

The cozy lounge area was great, but waiting 45 minutes to check in was frustrating.

Staying here with my big family was a treat! The kitchen was super handy for our group meals, and my kids loved using the cozy lounge area when we needed a break. Plus, the beds were surprisingly comfy!

My kids wished for more than one shared bathroom.

The beautifully decorated room had a newly updated bathroom, and I thoroughly appreciated the spacious layout. Plus, the location was perfect for exploring the nearby Seljalandsfoss waterfall and amazing landscapes.

Unexpected save with cozy vibes

Got stuck without a room, and this place came to the rescue! Super chill kitchen for cooking our meals. Only bummer was the wifi lagging a bit during peak hours.

Loved the spacious room and the free coffee machine was a nice touch! The large kitchen made it easy to whip up meals, and I enjoyed relaxing in the cozy lounge area whenever I needed a break. Just a heads-up, the shared bathroom could get a bit busy at times, but it didn't really take away from my stay ☕

The location is convenient, and the functional kitchen was a lifesaver for preparing meals. The experience was marred by the unfriendliness of the receptionist, who woke us up an hour before checkout to remind us to leave. The linens in our room could have used more attention, and the noise from the neighboring rooms was a bit disruptive. Dining options included some great Indian dishes.

We struggled to check in after arriving in the dark, waiting for a long time outside in -12 degrees due to unresponsive contact numbers. The layout is confusing with two separate buildings, limiting access during late hours. The shared bathroom for 15 rooms created long queues, and adjustments had to be made due to incorrect room reservations.
